What you are looking at
Everything above comes from one real CrayonMill run: the theme typed into the wizard, the 24 topics the planner wrote around a window seat, a teapot, and a sleeping cat, the pages as they left the 1-bit cleaner, and the preflight the download button waits for. Nothing here is retouched. The colored panels are AI examples made from the finished line art — the product itself is black-and-white line art.
Unlike the other five showcase books on this site, this one was not queued alongside other books — it ran on its own, so its 37 minutes are close to the actual drawing-and-review time for this book specifically, not time spent waiting behind other work in a shared queue.
Only one of the 24 pages needed a second drawing attempt — a large window scene framed with soft curtains — and it passed cleanly on the retry, so it carries no flag in the topic list above. One page also had a decorative frame that the 1-bit cleaner cropped away automatically.
Why this book is a good KDP candidate
A "Cozy" theme is chosen for the mood, not the age of the colorist, so the topic list above leans on still, low-stimulation objects — a teapot, a stack of books, a folded blanket, a cat asleep on an armchair — at medium line weight rather than the fine, pattern-dense lines an adult botanical theme would use. Nothing in the set carries stray text, and after the single retry above nothing needed a second pass for shading either.
Why "Cozy" pages lean on soft objects, not story
The theme keeps returning to the same handful of quiet objects — a teapot, a window, a cat, a blanket, a book — rather than building toward a story the way the fox-and-rabbit theme does, and that repetition is intentional for this audience: a relaxing coloring session benefits from pages that do not ask the colorist to follow a plot from page to page. Five of the 24 topics feature the sleeping or stretching cat, shown from a different angle each time (curled on an armchair, stretching on a windowsill, curled inside a knitted blanket, napping atop a stack of books, gazing out a rainy window); the other nineteen are the room around it. That is a narrower brief than any of the other five books on this site, and it still produced 24 pages with no two identical, which is the real test of whether a "Cozy" theme can carry a full book.
