Privacy Policy
Last updated:
CrayonMill (“we”, “us”) turns your choices into print-ready coloring pages. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions: support@crayonmill.com.
What we collect
- Account details. Your email address. If you sign in with Google, we also receive your name, email address, profile picture URL and Google account ID — nothing else from your Google account.
- Your books. The settings you choose (title, theme, audience, detail level, page count), the prompts built from them, and the pages and PDFs we generate for you.
- Credits and purchases. Your credit balance and history. Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy; we receive the order number, email, product and payment status — never your card details. When you press Buy we also note which pack and when, so we can see whether checkout works; it stays with your account.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived server logs (IP address, browser, time of request) for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies
We only use cookies the site needs to work: sign-in session cookies and a lang cookie that remembers your language. A few interface preferences live in your browser’s session storage. We use no advertising or analytics cookies.
How we use it
- To run your account, generate and store your pages, and keep track of credits.
- To process purchases and refund credits for failed pages.
- To email you when a book’s pages are ready (no newsletters, no marketing).
- To keep the service secure and fix problems.
- To answer you when you contact us.
We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use your books or prompts to train AI models.
Google sign-in
If you choose “Continue with Google”, we request only the basic openid, email and profile scopes, and use that information only to create and identify your CrayonMill account, and to show your name and photo on your profile (you can change the name we show). We do not share it with anyone except the providers listed below who run the service for us. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase — sign-in, database and file storage (servers in Frankfurt, Germany).
- Vercel — website hosting.
- fal.ai — image generation and automated quality checks; receives the prompts and images for your pages and may route them to the AI model provider that runs the model.
- Lemon Squeezy — checkout and payments, as merchant of record.
- Resend — sends the “your pages are ready” email; receives your email address and the book title.
- Google — only if you sign in with Google.
Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States. They act on our instructions and under their own data-protection terms.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and books while your account exists. You can delete your account yourself under Account → Privacy & security: your profile, books, pages, images and remaining credits are removed right away. If you would rather ask us, we will do it within 30 days. We keep purchase records (order number, amount, date) for as long as tax and accounting law requires, without your name or email.
Your rights
You can download a copy of your data at any time under Account → Privacy & security (a JSON file with your profile, your books with each page’s settings, and your credit history), change your display name on your profile, and delete your account there. You can also ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop a particular use of it. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or Turkey) you may also complain to your local data-protection authority. Email support@crayonmill.com and we will reply within 30 days.
Children
CrayonMill is a tool for adults who make coloring books. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and tell signed-in users about significant changes.
